Design and Comfort

The Nissan Rogue is very different from the Toyota RAV4 when it comes to exterior design. Just behind it is the RAV4 at 27 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway. One area where the Rogue excels is in terms of acceleration with the 1.5L engine, which provides up to 225 lb.-ft of torque. The RAV4 comes with a 2.5L engine and 184 lb.-ft of torque.

Safety

Safety is a prime concern for all auto manufacturers and both the Nissan and Toyota SUV prove it. Nissan includes Nissan Safety Shield 360 for the Rogue while the RAV4 comes with Toyota Safety Sense 2.5. These two systems include many of the same features, such as Blind Spot Warning and Lane Departure Warning. For the Nissan Rogue, you also get Intelligent Driver Alertness. This system monitors your driving and sends a warning if it detects that you’re starting to become distracted or drowsy.

Technology

Both the Nissan Rogue and Toyota RAV4 include technology to keep you connected and the ability to connect your smartphone through Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. You’ll get to enjoy premium sound systems on your trips with either model. Each SUV comes with a touchscreen for easy access to your apps and settings. The Nissan Rogue display is slightly larger at eight inches as opposed to the seven-inch display for the Toyota RAV4. You can also enjoy wireless charging with a digital cluster that can be customized.
