Two of Nissan’s top models are once again recognized for their dependability. The compact Nissan Kicks and the mid-size Nissan Murano were both recipients of the J.D. Power 2025 US Vehicle Dependability Study awards.
Kicks takes home the award for Most Dependable Small SUV while the Murano was recognized as the Most Dependable Midsize SUV for the 2022 model year. The team at JD Power Vehicle Dependability Study surveyed owners of three-year-old vehicles to see how they fared in several categories. The nine categories considered for this award include:
- Exterior
- Interior
- Powertrain
- Infotainment
- Features
- Driving assistance
- Seats
- Climate
- Controls and displays
- Driving experience
The surveys look at 184 potential problems within these nine categories. Both Kicks and Murano scored above the average for the segments.
